Project

Informative touchscreen display for company visitors

The touchscreen display is found in Wellell's headquarters, in the showroom serving as a visitor center. It offers visitors a chance to explore and learn about the various medical solutions and products available from Wellell.

Overview

Objective

The primary goal of this project is to offer visitors a hands-on experience, enabling them to explore product lines at their own pace, while also simplifying complex information about each medical solution and highlighting how the products assist in treatments.

Outcome

Final deliverable includes:
1. Unified information architecture for each medical solution
2. 15 interface templates catering to different types of information
3. Figma prototype showcasing interactions

The design has been successfully implemented across all three product lines.

Introduction

Context

The showroom serves as an educational environment for visitors to immerse themselves into curated medical settings and fully understand Wellell products' operation in context. The three interactive devices that share the same hardware settings are stationary at each section of the showroom, each introducing one indication that can be treated by our products.

User Research

Expert Interview

To bring a better experience for the visitors, we aim to unify the logic behind the information presented across the three devices. After talking to the experts in the three areas—Sleep Therapy, Pressure Injury, and Compression Therapy—we came up with this information architecture that guides the clinical department to generate device content.

Design Handoff

Specifications & Templates

Based on the content given by the clinical department, we designed a number of layouts that aim to deliver the information to the visitors smoothly when telling the story. By establishing rules and guidelines, we regulated our client's outsourced exhibit-design agency to implement the remaining contents of our design and generate functional systems.
